Default 798 si transducer and ranger

Is it worth moving up from the compact transducer. Any experience with placement on a 1987 ranger 350

I HAVE BOTH,IT IS ONLY A LITTLE DIFFERENT AND IN MY OPINION,IT IS NOT WORTH THE EXTRA COST,798 WILL SHOW A GOOD PIC IF ADJUSTED RIGHT ,JUST SMALL.I WOULD MANY TIMES JUST USE ONE SIDE WHEN I KNEW WHERE I WAS LOOKING ,BUT NOW HAVE 998 ALSO

The HDSI xducer will give somewhat more detailed images ...due to the longer SI piezoes in the HDSI xducer ...but as Gene noted the smaller screen may make it difficult to really see the difference ...
