Thanks. I'm out 60'. I think I'll push my sensitivity up @60' then shrink the distance to see what happens.

dwaw, I've been experimenting with that also. These shots are coming off a 798 and I can see detail better with the SI distance on 30-45 feet. That's the only reason I have them set like that.
ark, I use a 798 also at the bow. I mostly spider rig deep water for suspended fish with an i-pilot. I think 45' would plenty if it gives me images that I can react to. I fish an electric only lake so my speed is way down but can't do anything about that. I'm just starting to make productive use of Spot lock over brush or structure holding fish so images like what you're showing would be great. Thanks
arkcrappie, nice images...I hope to get my 798 out on the water for the second time this weekend, this reminds me I need a memory card...just left Wal-Mart and did not think to get one. I will have to remember tomorrow, so I can post up a few pictures.
Looking better ark, I would think that shadow to the left you spoke of is soft bottom and some type of a depression.
Slabbacks, I guess what made me think baitfish was the small darker blue patch just above and to the right of that large shadow. I actually have a picture of a similar place in the same lake over a mile away. I had just made a turn after coming through the area, so hence the swirls in the bottom of the picture and some of the disturbance where the boat was traveling. I saw the depressing and turned quickly to go back over it to check it out.
Awesome pics man! Did u wet a hook here?
No LowePro. Just wanted to get some use on the 798. I've been told you got to use it to figure it out. Trying to use it as much as possible
I totally understand! This is so much fun isn't it!!!
