Default A few more screen shots.........

After the suggestions you all had about moving my transducer, adjustments were made and I think it made a difference. I'm still toying with the sensitivity and contrast settings. The first couple of pictures are of an old rock dike(jetty).

The next one you will see lots of gar or Asian carp, especially to the left side.

Here's another rock dike. Notice the "cloudy" shadow in the mid picture left side. Baitfish (shad)???

Great looking images man! I really love this. Now i need to know how ya identified those fish as asian carp, because there are alot of those around my waters, and I need to know how to identify them so I dont wast my time fishing for something that isnt gonna bite. I Like to fish for catfish as well and want to know how to find the big boys on my graph. I have on several instances seen a big fish and post up on em and it hasnt paid off yet. But I see youtube videos of people doing that and its game on for them.

Did you try to catch any of these fish on this dike? If yes, what did ya catch?

From my understanding of reading these images, the further the shadow from the fish, the higher in the water column the fish are. On this day the gar and Asian carp were just under the waters surface. I just deducted that with the size of the fish and their position as to what they are.
I did fish that dike and did not catch a fish. Not even a bite
