I am looking to see if I have any Humminbird Screen Shots left.
Took this one today with the Lowrance. And yes I hooked up both poles I was jigging.

Justin,I agree with you.my post was meant to be humerus.Acually I believe that all three manufacturers have great units ,with each having there own +_.the thing is each person has to determine what fits there needs best.I don't need the onix and you don't need 12 touch hds,,but we both like them.its just a choice weve made and each unit has its +_ Just as the garmin.(brett, maybe wanting a unit that in reality, doesn't exist .the perfect unit):highfive
Here are a few off of a 958, never had anything but HB so can't really tell you which is best.

I agree with CPappy, if you can see the fish and the structure what else do you need?
I really think it is a Ford/Chevy thing, main thing is to learn how to use what you have!
Hard to beat Kosmo's images!!! I am wanting an Onix but haven't talked myself into it, yet!
I use the DI/Nav screen 99% of the time, hardly ever use 2D anymore.
Been off this thread for a little while. Came back and don't see the big uproar of the garmin. I have a touch 9 and can see all of that. Even on 2d. Brett you say that the lowrance fades off or you but I'm not having that problem. I usually run my SI out to 60 - 80 but have run it out to 160. Besides those lowrance pics are just about all the brush piles I have put in. What else could you ask for
What is an ONIX. Thought I knew them all? Guess not!
FYI. I replaced my structure scan transducer that came out originally with the longer lss2 transducer, made a world of difference in the clarity of the down and SI clarity, cleared up the SNOW in the water column.
