The screen is just cosmetic ..... not a real problem
It turning on and off is a problem

I can get a 32" tv for $300 soo.... $500 for a small screen is bs
So the TV comparison is out

Unfortunately unlike some I can't afford to upgrade ($2200) when they come out with a new unit I like ..... wish I could but I cant

What I do expect is not to wind up palms down on a desk when I need to get the unit I did pay $2200 for repaired ..... but that's just how I feel everyone is entitled to there on opinion

I do understand that if I want my unit repaired thats what i am going to have to pay and no matter what I say its not gonna help but I warn all those with a 997si
If it needs to be checked out by a doctor prepair yourself its gonna hurt $$$$
