The US3 switch allows 2 head units to be connected to 1 xducer..
The TS3 switch allows 2 xducer's to be connected to 1 head unit...(I assume this is yours...??...)
While the switch will work with your setup...it is not a necessity...
The AS SIDB Y cable would allow your head unit to receive 2d from the Dual Beam xducer...and then receive SI and Temp from the HDSI xducer...this is a little simpler setup as there is no "switching" needed...(the head unit just sees the 2 xducer's as all data coming from 1 xducer)..
