duncan, just the other day i was out fishing and came across a person fishing in a yak.he was using the lowrance elete 7di . he told me that he was pleased with it.it looked really good mounted on his yak.if it i was going to fish out of one of those yaks i would just move one of my 998s to it .no need in buying that extra unit imo.
