How much interference would you expect to create if you mounted an Low Elite 7 HDI transducer, very near a 998c HD transducer.
My idea here is to (perhaps) bite the bullet and get the
Elite 7 beside the 998c in an effort to get a quality down image from the helm.
I'm very concerned that both units running the 455 or 800 mhz would ruin each other.
I'd want to leave the Elite 7 in down scan mode all the time.
As a bit of info, I have done this with the998c and the Low HDS7 touch lss 2 and the interference is strong with both units running the SI at the same time.
I've had to stop the sonar on one, to see the other well.
Also, comment on using the Elite 5 with the 998c
