Thread: Updating & Upgrading the 184DC Champion

Masking the boat was the biggest problem. I'm re-carpeting next winter so I didn't worry too much about the old stuff under the console.



The Epoxy went down first and it was difficult to spray but I got it done.



I went thru the trouble to get a color match close to the original color even though little blue will be seen once the lite blue SeaDek is applied. With all the masking over spray still got everywhere so a serious cleaning will be needed. The vertical areas below the old carpet trim and the freshly painted deck will be blacked out with a industrial urethane I have leftover from another job.
