The big blow the other day revealed another issue with wind driven water. The now Lean To was full of water underneath making a muddy mess. I didn't realize how much water would blow under the old brake metal I tacked down for trim. $1310 dollars later I have enough trim metal and expanding sealing foam tape to fix this roof as well as my home roof.

This is not all the trim but I broke up the bundle before taking a picture of it. I already installed a bit up top staging my pickup so standing in the bed I can lay what I need up on the roof then install it. Since the wind was howling again today the trim metal was trying to blow off before I got it installed.

This combination of brake metal and sealing foam is designed to seal the Lean To roof to the side of the building. As I said earlier I already installed this before getting the phone for pictures. Sealed it right up.

As you can see in the pictures after sweeping the tree debris away I put down the expanding sealing foam first followed by the brake metal. I allowed a good overlap then pushed the metal up solidly as I secured it with Stitch Screws. A good overlap the the side wall trim was work so no leaks in the corner ever.

I had to finish screwing the metal down along with all the stitch screws in the seams which has the inside muscles in my thighs crying for mercy now. A bit of extra Homemade Hooch and a bottle of Advil will fix that. I have to loosen the roof metal and install the drip edge still, maybe tomorrow.
