One Crow can Eat 5 Pounds of Pecans a Month
So crows work in small flocks. They post sentries for security while raiding your crops. Another practice they do is spread out to locate food then crow 3 times to let their buddies know there is food here. This one crow has been on my place for close to two weeks. I keep running it off. Well it figured out my pecans were ready to eat and while I was in my recliner reading it was right outside in my pecan tree stealing a pecan. I ran out to run it off but it had already left. I start reading again and here it calling it's buddies to the chow hall. I went out with my pellet rifle and shooting it like a Shotgun threw up and smoked the crow in flight. Boy my chest stuck out the rest of the day.

So, I dropped it on the concrete and took a photo as it fell. My plan is to make a pattern, cut out about 20 of this shape out of plywood, paint all of them black, and lay them around my trees to fool the crows into thinking its dead Crows in my yard. So across the wings as it lays here is over 16 inches. They are big birds.
