Rust prevention is constantly spraying a multi-use fungicide. For me I can't spend that much time so systemic protection is required. I have found a great systemic fungicide that has multi-day protection made by Spectracide. Not sure how it will work on rust but by far the best fungicide I have found for the balance of fruit trees & grapes on the place here. Immunox here is the link

NHC seems to be missing the eastward trend of the Hurricane Eyewall. If we get a full wind hit I don't thing the limbs will stay on this tree. The top has been broken out of it once during previous Hurricane.

We faired better than expected. Still dark but I don't see a lot of wind damage to the Pecans. They were Topworked by me 8-9 years ago now and this is the best crop ever. Looking forward to some fresh Pecan Pies!

Good news. Hope they are the best. Our pecan trees look loaded this year too.

While moving the potted fig trees into my shop for safety from the Hurricane I noticed this fig on one of the late "Fig Pop" propagations. Just a lone fig on such a small tree.
I held up a quarter to give something to compare the size of the fig to.



So much rain has fallen all the figs but this one are turning to mush from too much water. I don't have this fig marked as to where I got the cutting from either.

Not sure. Tree looks healthy. Hopefully you can figure out where it came from and the variety.

This is a Unknown, not labeled fig tree I bought from our local Nursery. I didn't know what it was but it has a Smith, Miss Hall, Texas BA-1, Violette De Bordeaux matching leaf. I figured it had to be a good fig. Well It's none of those but when the Fig Man Stan was at my place I showed him one of these figs and He ask for one of the Air Layers from the tree pictured when they were ready. During the Tornado cleanup a big Track-hoe, the one that picked up the tree off my truck, destroyed this tree in the process, turned the machine with the track right on top of the tree. The unknown fig tree is one of the Air Layers on the tree posted on page 6. Stan said it was a Turkey Fig but had no clue which one. I saw in his eyes He liked what he was looking at. I came to believe it was a Magnolia Fig and it may be, they are very popular in California.

It's starting to turn colors but still growing in size too.
