First coat

Finally got a ferrule wrap done and the eyes squared away. Afraid that something would happen to my progress I finished putting the drying rack together and gave it a spin. After seeing the chuck with a clutch built in I had to have one. Sure made working around the eyes easy. Not a finish coat so you can still see the thread but that will be smooth and glossy next coat. Might be fishing with it pretty soon, maybe next weekend. Thanks for following along, been kinda busy and a man has to fish now and then. Til it’s done.....Skeet
