Just a short update; I got the finish coat on the bottom two sections and it’s ready to fish. I had the ferrule wraps for the two top sections to do and they have an accent in the wrap. My big fingers and the smaller wraps gave me what for. The tip section took 7 or 8 times before it was done. Had it complete about 3 tries in but it looked so bad I cut it off right away. This is definitely not for someone in a hurry. So with them done I got a first coat on the two skinny sections and it’s drying now. Doing the coat I noticed I had forgotten the tip wrap, so I’ll have to catch that up later. Overall I’m pleased, even with its lack of perfection. I’ll be happy to get the first fish on it, pics when that happens. Thanks for following along.....Skeet
