We become efficient to a higher degree with lure,line,rods,or terminal gear when we have a good day using certain gear.The more we use the same and catch a satisfactory amount of fish ,the more we tend to become exclusive to that gear.
I utterly despise hanging a jig without a loop knot,but that’s not saying I haven’t caught fish on jigs tied tight,it’s what I prefer,thus it’s what I use,thus it’s what I catch more fish with.The same can be said with pretty much all bait/lures,that’s what what makes the world go round.
