IMO, color is way overrated. What matters more than anything is depth and speed. I'll take the wrong color at the correct depth and speed anytime.

As far as speed goes, you can almost never fish too slow, but it's very easy to fish too fast. When in doubt, go slower. Keep changing your depth until you find fish.
