I been to two of them and look forward to a third, hope its a time when I can attend. I know a date will not fit every one schedule or a location. Suggustion:::::Milford
I'm going to suggest Tuttle the weekend of August 17th and 18th. There is already a tournament there Sunday so I know people will already be coming from the east and its more centrally located than other lakes.
What is Crappie Camp? I think I can guess, but more information please?
They are just where a group of folks gather to fish a lake for a couple three days and fish eat and tell lies. I've been to three in Kansas and have enjoyed them all. I am currently intrigued by the reports that have been posted about Milford from folks like KAG, Droptine and Scoutsout and would like to check that lake out sometime though currently I'm not sure I even remember what a crappie looks like or even if I can catch any. Hopefully they weren't lies since they did include a lot of pictures with their postings.Quote:

what I have seen done is put down a list of lakes a list of dates everyone votes winner winner chicken dinner then it is organized from there??
Thanks guys, that is pretty much what I figured. I went to the Spring Camp thread, looks like a great time.
The problem with that is......everyone is quick to vote for what Lake they would like it at, but not so quick to step up and get something organized. If somebody wants to step up and get something going I would be willing to help in whatever way I can depending on when and where it's at.
I will make it very simple. Aug 23-25. El Dorado Lake. Camping in Bluestem campground. Loop 7. If we can't get more than 10+ people, its not worth it. Check your calender and post back. Besides, you can catch some of our eyes also.

I'm in as long as Shane is giving free reports on the current pattern :biggrin. Only fished that lake once but once was enough to know there are some big boys in there and lots of places to look for them.
He will give free reports I promiss that much. And I have never know any fisherman to lie.
