Okay, I am considering making this but since I am very, very new at crappie fishing (have a day set up with Chatt in September to do some learnin') and being a po' boy without a boat, what are the prospects of bank fishing? By that I mean, I know a person can bank fish anywhere there is a bank, but what are the prospects of actually being a little successful at it at El Dorado?

OK, I wish someone would summarize some of the specifics. I can't even figure out what lake this event is on. I also really wish a summary could be posted up on the State Events Forum here: Post State Events Here so that everyone on the site can know about the event. Don't forget, I use the State Events Forum to "sometimes" send goodies for the events.

Shane- Fish, batter, Fish fryer, Oil, ect. Will take care of the items for the fish. Fire wood for the camp fire.
Pototoes for the "chips". Corn on cob. Coffee pot.

Very likely we are going to be able to make it. I should know for sure tonight. We will be happy to bring some of the items if we do.
On a side note: how likely is it we will be able to get a camp spot close if we do not show up until 8p-9p Friday? We will try to save a many as we can if we know you are coming that day.

Couple of ?'s, are the camp sites shaded and do they have power? Will be tent camping, but will still need power for the boat batteries.
