At least it's a pretty morning

Bass club buddy of mine from years ago said a 25 boat bass club tournament could launch, park, blast off, and be gone out of sight before one "perch-jerker" could get his boat wet and off the ramp.
Lot of truth to that even though I brought my bass tournament ramp manners to the role of "perch-jerker" now. The old-timers who haven't tried to start their boat since it was used last 8 months ago are the worst. I don't have enough fingers or toes to count the number of times I've tried to jump start those types to clear them off ramps.
And people taking up 2 parking places

Or parking in boat trailer spots when this ramp has 30 car spots.

Attachment 217430 We headed out also john. And it is pretty this AM
I've seen a few, shake my head and laugh.
Looks like Mr. Greenjeans should be down there handing out parking awards.
1. A family takes up 2 spaces on a ramp launching a pontoon, sometimes the whole ramp. They wait until the get to the water to load everybody and everything in the boat. The person driving the truck is the person that drives the boat. This was an hour wait.
2. A group launches a boat and find that there isn't enough gas to get the truck back up the ramp. This was a 3 hour wait.
3. A guy launches by himself. He ties a rope from the boat to the trailer and forgets what he's doing. Drags the boat up the ramp some 30 feet. A wrecker has to be called to pull the boat onto the trailer. The whole ramp is shutdown for over an hour while the wrecker is on the ramp.
I have a few more, but 3 is enough for starters.
You left out leaving the truck and boat on the ramp while they run to the bathroom.
How about the ones that leave their headlights on and your trying to back down the ramp at dark thirty!
