You will need to set up a Lowrance NMEA2000 network. Google Lowrance NMEA2000 network and you should find a PDF file that shows how to set it up.Quote:

If you are thinking about ever adding more units, or components, it probably wouldn't be much more to just buy the starter kit.
This is for stake driving boat. Only using gps, if it gets any more expensive i'm gonna sell the unit and buy a garmin152 or 162.

Yes, you will need the dual t plus a single t, plus 2 terminators plus the cables. Join the single and double t together. place terminators on the opposing ends (called backbone) On dual t, run 1 cable to the 520 and the other to the lcg3000.Quote:
