    520 c with red male end and lgc-3000 gps puck red male end. What do I need to make it work?

    You will need to set up a Lowrance NMEA2000 network. Google Lowrance NMEA2000 network and you should find a PDF file that shows how to set it up.

    Does it seriously take a unit, antenna ,dual t bar connector and two terminators just to run gps?

    If you are thinking about ever adding more units, or components, it probably wouldn't be much more to just buy the starter kit.

    This is for stake driving boat. Only using gps, if it gets any more expensive i'm gonna sell the unit and buy a garmin152 or 162.

    OK seriously, it takes a dual t connector, two terminating caps,two different cables to just hook up a unit to gps only? I need help!!!!!!

    Yes, you will need the dual t plus a single t, plus 2 terminators plus the cables. Join the single and double t together. place terminators on the opposing ends (called backbone) On dual t, run 1 cable to the 520 and the other to the lcg3000.

    On the single t, install the nema power cable (3a fused). This powers the nmea 2000 network.
