Thank you. It’s fun when you can find a school of good eater size crappies. Action as fast as you can get the baits in the water.

Went fishing on the Clarion River this morning and had a pretty good morning until the power boaters blew us off the water. The biggest walleye was 22in and the smaller one was 19in. The perch and crappies were bonuses. I think when the water starts to cool down,it's going to get alot better.

Got a report that the crappies aren’t biting at Pymatuning lake so I took the challenge of trying to find some. Fished the south end. Caught 5 species of fish today. Put nine crappies in the box. 7 gills, 4 perch, 2 cats, and a small walleye. Crappies were laying on the bottom as were the cats. All on BG plastics and nibbles.

Nice catch Chaunc! Glad to see that we weren't the only ones out in the baking in the sun.

I wasn’t out in that baking sun. I got on the lake at sunrise and off by 12. I very rarely fish past one this time of year. Too dadgum old to be sitting in that heat now. I take what I can get then I get off that water. I’m retired. I can come back the next morning, god willing.

Ad1974, those children caught some awfully nice fish, so congrats to them. And congrats to you for taking them, lots of memories made for sure.
