Went fishing on the Clarion River this morning and had a pretty good morning until the power boaters blew us off the water. The biggest walleye was 22in and the smaller one was 19in. Got a report that the crappies aren’t biting at Pymatuning lake so I took the challenge of trying to find some. Fished the south end. Caught 5 species of fish today. Put nine crappies in the box. 7 gills, 4 perch, 2 cats, and a small walleye. Crappies were laying on the bottom as were the cats. All on BG plastics and nibbles.

I wasn’t out in that baking sun. I got on the lake at sunrise and off by 12. I very rarely fish past one this time of year. Too dadgum old to be sitting in that heat now. I take what I can get then I get off that water. I’m retired. I can come back the next morning, god willing.Quote:
