    Default Gill Hunter Has Been Caught!


    Look at what's been eatin all the Gills and Crackers! Caught this nice NY Chain Pickerel on a Bobby Garland Baby Shad (Crystal) while jiggin for Gills and Crackers on a cold November Sunday (air temp was 38 degrees, bluebird skies, wind was calm).

    Iv caught a few before in some blackwater ponds but they were all at most 12"
    Son of Racoon, Friend of whiskerwhipper, FHB to all.

    Nice pic!!! I agree if cleaned properly they are a right tasty meal but you can't blame the poor bugger he's gotta eat too!!

    I remember fishing for crappies in river backwater and the fishing would slow down.Some one would catch a northern or muskie cruising around then they 'd start biting again.
