    Spittin on the bait???? And to think all these years I've been chewin it. No wonder! I've been looking over this site for a few months now and enjoyed it so much I thought I would jump in and get wet. I've already learned a lot.

    I remember an old Bill Dance crappie fishing segment years ago...he had this old man as a guest. This old fellow would spit on his minnow....can't remember if it was with tobacco juice or not. He was so funny, telling Bill...you gotta spit on that minner....and he caught them to..

    I don't know if it's a smalley lake,but they are there,I know a few bass fisherman that catch some real nice one.

    Welcome from another Florida fisherman!!! I did the same as you and just lurked around a bit before signing up. Everyone on here is a great resource and most of the time they won't even pull your leg... Anyway, good luck in fishing that area, I am just over fro you in the edge of the panhandle on the Alabama border.
