Nice. They were being picky. At least you didn't get skunked.

Last couple trips fishing through ice holes have not been good barely avoiding skunks each day. Just wouldn't hit my hand tied tiny hand ties even though I could see them in the clear water. Yesterday I found some tiny tungsten jigs and tied one on and tipped it with a waxworm. Bigger one weighed 1.0 gram and next size weighed .6 gram. Used the bigger one that is probably on a #12 hook. Caught first redear of the year along with about 25 gills and a few trout. They really liked this tiny bait.![]()
Looks like the clam maggot drop, I use Maynards flutter bugs a lot, size 10 hook 1/28 oz tipped with a waxy or crappie or fat head minnow. I order them right from Maynard’s tackle company, they have a lot of small panfish types of baits.
Nice !
Pretty colors on them .
Love them crackers and tiny jigs too .

I used the acme gold tungsten jig size 3 and tipped with small plastics. That worked pretty good for me.
Look like scuds, have seen something similar before. I like em.
