Got out yesterday fishing the ultralights and started out using a monkey milk little swimmer on a 1/48 chub on a #10 hook under a weighted float. First fish was the one and only crappie to small for a picture. Gills were hitting really well as were the small bass. Main problem was all the vegetation that has floated up to the surface, cleaning hooks on almost every cast. Got tired of them pulling down the soft plastic swimmer and tied on a mallard duck jig for the rest of the morning. Between the two caught over 30 gills mostly in that 7" range.Name: IMG_6956.jpg
