great post, here in California after July the bite stops.
dont know why, water temp isn’t that hot, but the lakes are 150-200 ft deep. The bass give us something to chase. Hoping for some fall action, before heading to the Arizona desert for fall and winter.
I found the same in Arizona in spring , red ear to 3lbs,but in fall . No action at all.
