Thread: Another day in the rain

This past April set all time record for rain with more projected. Son wanted to try the river even though it was high and looked like chocolate milk. I didn't really expect anything but stuck a couple nice white bass on a 1/4 football bunny jig. After that moved to lake and started in back corner where I'd been catching lot's of gills. Saw about a dozen Redear spawning close to the bank and caught one and lost one before casting away to open water where the gills were active. Really biting good but started raining good and got wet again. Still a fun day.
