    Default It’s not a crappie, but it’s a start.

Took my new B’n’M Sam Heaton with the Okuma Ceymar A combo out today and did some float and jig fishing. I didn’t have a lot of time and I was also there to test some new plastics a buddy of mine was molding for bass fishing, but I did spend a little time casting the new rig too. It ended up being the only rod I caught a fish on. Got a little bluegill and a dink bass. So, not a crappie, but it’s a start! For me it’s important that I actually had success using this float and jig rig. I had on a 1/32 ballhead jig with a 2” tube tied on underneath a tiny little foam trout float.
