Thread: Duck feather jigs & gills

I got out yesterday and got on the gills again. One rod only again and a small jar of Berkley power wiggler pieces and some duck feather jigs was all I needed on this trip. Fish seem fatter since the cicadas are out in force, actually threw some out in the lake and watched them get eaten. Some were gone before they even hit the water surface. Is this considered chumming? Maybe stick a hook in one next time out and see what happens.
