Hello fellow panfish enthusiasts, been another dry month this part of the country. But that doesn’t bother me but what does seems like since the pandemic started 2 plus years ago, the bluegills and green sunfish population either has declined dramatically, especially the bigger one, or the spawning season come late. We shore fishermen are at the mercy of water level snd temperatures and it seems this year no different. Since mid May I’ve been out about 6 times all time got skunked or very few hook-ups. Yesterday evening I thought I’ve waited long enough to see if anything change and went out just before Sunday for a hour of fun after work and here’s what caught me off guard: lots of little fishes but adults are no where to be found. During hard time people tend keep more fishes for taco snd that’s understandable but WOW! Even the carps are small…lol. Enjoy the pictures!
