I catch them twitching a 1.5 gram jig down to about 25 feet. The key when using light jigs is to use a sinking line. It works out great. Of course this is jig fishing…..used to catch them same depth many years ago dropping crickets down that deep on the bluffs at Center Hill. But I much prefer jig fishing.
