Actually I have fished the bridge supports many times and only caught one small Spotted Bass. For some reason they do not hang out there or I just can't catchum. However the rock bank to the right of the supports has given up a 17" Smallie and an 18" Largemouth. I catch lots of fish from the Duck River but they run to the small side. That's OK because I go there for more than fish as you can see. Also all the Spotted Bass from this river have vibrant, bold markings and they are also always fat. There is an abundance of natural food as well as clean, cool water.
