Ive had a couple of good trips this weekend. Fun and some color yesterday and a bunch of Crappie and a stud Gill today. The color I speak of was a spot of orange from the pec fins forward that was bright like a redbreast as I reeled him in but turned a deep rusty brown by the time I could take the pic. Never seen one do that before. Today’s fish just had a bigger body structure than yesterday’s and fought like a largemouth. I caught a limit of crappie today in about 2 hours but what sticks in my mind is the one Gill I caught. Hope y’all got out and put a smile on your face so I’m not the only one making folks wonder what I’ve been up to.
