    Interestingly true Yobuck, BUT any line to line knot does have a very important issue. Although the percentage of line strength @the knot will NEVER be 100%, depending on the amount of line added, eventually, you will DREAD the famous "abbreviated cast"! This occurs with time/reties etc. when you encounter the "curb" within the spool caused by your "joint" that will shorten your cast. Large(more so) or small knots, even WITH close-cut, trimmed ends WILL cause this! What I do to "cure" this is to put a small piece of tape(electrical's fine) over the knot and voila "No mas"(quoting Roberto Duran{11-25-80})Name:  20210322_071745.jpg
