Test casted the 1/32 trout magnet on my driveway today to determine the difference in the results I got from test cast over water at my dock and using the formula I used.
50.6' over water formula
47.4' over land measured.

Difference was 3.2' or 93.7% less on land. As s_v stated there is a inherent error in my over water formula.
