I have the 3lb UV Night Ester on the Presso, it will handle all the Panfish I encounter here in E TN, and want to do a summer night time trip with the black lights. Also, most of my fishing is done in and around structure, so I tend to prefer the heavier (3-4lb) lines. As far as a drop shot rod, I would ask Alphahawk what he prefers to use while using that technique in the winter for Gills. I have heard him mention doing that before. The jig heads you guys are using are great, I have tried a few and have a much better hook up ratio, especially on small nibblers. I use them more from the boat on bedding fish. From the bank I prefer the BG Itty Bitty jigheads in the 1/48 with the #8 hook and the Lightwire 1/32oz with the #6 hook. Just a bit more economical![]()
