Thanks much. I never did a review of the SUL. I need to though. Both of the Fine Tail Banshee rods I own are very sensitive. The Daiwa Iprimi is really very dead compared to the Major Craft.....but the Daiwa was less than half the cost of the Fine Tail Banshee. My Palms Egeria is adequate in the sensitivity department but when one gets used to fishing with the extremely sensitive rods it is hard to use less.

Looks like fun. I’ve never seen anyone use a net for panfish.

Well....when one is using 2.1# test line that actually breaks at 2.1 pounds.....and you are using rods with tips as small as 6/10th of a millimeter, and that rod costs from 300 to 500 dollars.....and has a graphite content as high as 99.6 percent.......you don't want to be boat lifting fish. It ain't a pretty sight when one breaks one of these rods.....LOL. Now having said that there are quite a few UL rods that cost from 50 bucks and up that folks have no business boat lifting fish with either. I will on occasion boat lift a very small bluegill with one of these rods but shellcracker...crappie....white bass......all get the net.
Regards
I’m not able to spend that much for one rod. The Leland trout slayer rod is very good and within $50 range. Also recommended by AlphaHawk
