    Troy, the Trapara is a great rod for the money. This one is on the whippy side, SUL. They have UL and Lite action rods also. I think this is Master Craft's freshwater panfish series, lol.
    At least you got out Tim.
    Stan, the BGs are on the beds now out here. We are fishing between 22 and 17 FOW. Beds are 6 to 12 FOW - the ones you can see. We are getting a marine layer in the early morning, cool and foggy but it burns off to quick. Once the sun comes out the fishing slows way down.

    Nice, I really like the looks of the fl. green auto, should stick some crappie with that color as well. Must be a newer color, haven't seen it before. Might have to get one of those rods soon.

    JJ - you remember that 6' Cabela's half rod that I used? The tips on the JDM rods are the very similar. Super sensitive and makes the jig dance. Crappie are starting to pop up all over the place since the flooding.
