My Great-niece, 8 year old Shaylee is down for a visit from Alaska (mom is TDY to Hawaii) and she wanted to go fishing. She like to cast bobbers.
Was hoping for an overcast but we were met with bright early morning. We tried to fish a few beds (wanted her to hook up) but with the bright sun, low wind, and so close to full moon that was a losing plan. We trolled with the shorter rods and did all right. She was good to 0930 and then it was getting to warm.
we trolled 24 to 26 FOW. Water temp was 76*F.
We also managed a limit of smaller fish for some friends on the docks. All the big fish were CPRd.
