Merry Christmas to you also. Almost 99 percent of the time you will found a Bison colored Trout Magnet on the end of my line when fishing for Gills. If it is in the spring, summer, and fall I will use the TM jig head at 1/64 ounce. In winter...or heat of summer....when they go deep I will use a ball head jig with a #8 hook 1/24-3/32. I never fish the Trout Magnet with anything heavier than a 3/32. And they have to be deep to use that. The lighter you can keep your jig head weight the better. This past Thursday I had around 50-60 brook trout like in the pic using the Bison colored. BullDog is also a great color for Gills.
