Thread: Just an hour......

So here in lies the dilemma ....would you drive 45 minutes each way to hit the water for one hour is the question ? Lots of people say that's not right ,but then again I am not lots of people . So off I went to see if the bluegill will cooperate for sure before I get the ladies out that far from home .
Well the bream were not quite what I expected numbers wise and the large versions were not easily found . And to make matters EVEN worse along comes a herd of crappie hammering my lil 1/64 jighead with a tiny pc. a worm on it ! I tell ya sometimes life just aint right , but the good news in this episode is the fish got to go free and it was super splendid afternoon .
Only had one jighead with me on the hike in and one worm and got broke off by something right when it was time to leave .The things some folks will do to ketch a silly fish amazes me .....
P.s. I did have a plastic in my pocket just in case ....got broke off using it when the worm got tired ....lol
