Hey.... Been many a mile for far less rewarding results! Time going and coming home is all part of the blessing of getting away from all else the takes your time. Been more then once I drove 4 hours each way to fish a few hours, because that was where I wanted to be that day! Most often it was a situation of do that or stay home all together!
Now.... Lets see ... is that Honey hole within 4-5 hours of St. Louis? And what day we meeting up to fish it? Southwest Airlines gets me most airports in Texas in about 45 minutes.... that leaves 2 1/2 hours driving from the airport after picking up a rental, unless you picking me up...
