Works good on long slender fish like walleye or pike and striped bass, and the little guys too.

The "Hawg Trough" is used throughout the country most notably in the kayak bass fishing community. For many kayak tournaments in the USA it is the official measuring device. I had fishing kayaks for the past four years and it was all I took out in the kayak....just sold all my kayaks and will be getting a boat but hung on to the Hawg Trough.
