nice fish! in the river i go alot here in nj there are lots of yellow and white perch.i've noticed no matter what season from spring onward i've not had too much trouble catching the yellow perch if they are where im casting.the river is tidal so the tide effects where i need to try for em.usually the white perch come up the river to spawn in the spring here and people are nailing em left n right with bait filling buckets with em.a few weeks ago i acually caught 2 whites along with a bunch of yellow perch.i just filleted em all and put em in the freezer.i guess not too much catches of white perch do i hear about in the river after the spawning season is done but there are still some hanging around in there.speaking of perch i've noticed that yellow perch skin is more tougher than white perch.the white perch fillet much quicker
