Man I can not wait for warm weather. -17 degrees today, 2 1/2 feet of snow in the yard, everything iced up, and all I can think about is holding a nice warm bull bluegill in my hand that I just landed on one of my favorite jig and plastic combos in June.
It is not about the equipment you have to use,
It is about how you use the equipment you have. :D

I know what you mean buddy, here in Western KY, we've had more snow this year than the 15 years I have lived here combined. I am read for warmer weather and casting to some big gill and cracker beds!

We will hit mid 60's next week. I am organizing tackle box now. There are Gills and Crappies calling. I can't wait either.

ive stocked my tackle box waiting on one mail order and its time to fish
fishing from the couch in front of the tv doesnt count
David we did get two - three inches last night. The city is in panic mode. I remember when we would routinely get over a foot of snow at a time up in Akron Ohio. To me this is nothing. They still forcast mid 60's for all of next week. I have cleaned out fishing vests and tackle boxes. I plan on pounding the bank somewhere next week my friend.

We catch some nice gills thru the ice up here.
The ice is over a foot thick and the crappies are hitting good.
I'm in no hurry, up here, for the water to warm up. It'll be may before i head down that way. You guys stay warm.
Pittsburgh weather is calling for highs in the 50's maybe even 60,we'll see.Our parking lot at our apt is nasty in places,I've slipped a few times.I hope to get out on the ice a few more times and get Sherry out some too.
Chaunc,I love that top pic it's pretty neat.I also enjoy your sink pics, nice crappies.
