    Default got a 100 today.

Me and my buddy Chad went out this mornin and killed em. Caught a 100 by 11 am, fished till 1 pm culling out some of the smaller ones, caught em all on crickets in 5 fow, been catchin em like this for over a month now, wonder how long its gonna last? It doesnt make and sense to even try and catch a crappie when the bream are biting like this.

not many details to post really. caught em in 5 fow on crickets, we were anchored down using 3 poles a piece and every 2 mins or so one of em would get a hit. The fish are scattered all around this area we been fishin, we just catch 20 or 30 here, move a lil and do the same. They were not caught on the bank though, all in open water. cant buy a fish on the bank, gotta get out away from it.

Why even fish for Bluegill?... unless you can't catch the Crappie.

why fish for crappie?.....unless you cant catch a bluegill, that can go both ways. Check the Fla board, no1 is catchin specks right now. Yeah i could prob spend all day in the 100 plus heat and catch a few specks or....... i can go bream fishin, catch my limit and be home by lunch. hmmmmmm... which makes more sense? when it cools off and the specks start back i will be the first one out there but until then im happy with puttin fish in the freezer. (no matter what species) I love fishing, not just crappie fishing.
