Here in Ontario (I know, I know it is a Province, not a State:-), it depends on where I am fishing (in which of the 20 divided zones in the Province). For example, in one zone where I fish most:
Conservation Fishing License Holder:
Large and/or Small Mouth (combined) Bass: 2
White and/or Black (combined) Crappie: 10
Bluegill/Sunfish: 25
Perch: 25
Full/Sports Fishing License Holder:
Large and/or Small Mouth (combined) Bass: 6
White and/or Black (combined) Crappie: 30
Bluegill/Sunfish: 50
Perch: 50
Tennessee has a 15 possession and a min 10" length
2010 TN Regulations:
Crappie (all species combined) 15 daily 10 inches
Rock Bass or Redeye 20 no size limit
White Bass 15 no size limit
Sauger or Sauger/Walleye hybrids 10 daily 15 inches
Redear Sunfish or Shellcracker 20 no size limit
Yellow Bass, Bluegill, Bream, Bullheads, Pickerel, Northern Pike,Yellow Perch, and nongame species no limit no size limit
Catfish: Only one catfish over 34 inches may be harvested per day. No harvest limit on catfish less than 34 inches.
I bet if I combine all of the possession limits of all of the U.S. States and of all of the Canadian provinces, I won't be able to keep ANY fish of any size at all...LOL.
New York: Bluegill 50 any size--Perch 50 any size--Crappie 25/9" minimum
Reduced this year from 50 each as i recall to 25 total of all sunfish and crappies.
