Here in Ontario (I know, I know it is a Province, not a State:-), it depends on where I am fishing (in which of the 20 divided zones in the Province). For example, in one zone where I fish most:

    Conservation Fishing License Holder:
Large and/or Small Mouth (combined) Bass: 2
White and/or Black (combined) Crappie: 10
    Bluegill/Sunfish: 25
    Perch: 25

    Full/Sports Fishing License Holder:
Large and/or Small Mouth (combined) Bass: 6
White and/or Black (combined) Crappie: 30
    Bluegill/Sunfish: 50
    Perch: 50

That is an interesting two tier licensing system. I presume the Conservation license cost less than the Full/Sport license?? Wonder if any of the states in the USA have such a setup?

Yes here in Ontario, Conservation license costs less (about $15 per year) than Sports license (about $25 per year)

I bet if I combine all of the possession limits of all of the U.S. States and of all of the Canadian provinces, I won't be able to keep ANY fish of any size at all...LOL.
